Unlocked GSM Palm Pre Now Available Via Exansys USA
Here's some good news for AT&T and T-Mobile subscribers. You can now purchase the unlocked Palm Pre for your GSM networks.
The GSM Palm Pre (German version) is now available to US consumers via Expansys. Non-Sprint subscribers can now get the first webOS device without switching carriers.
However, there are a few downsides when purchasing this version.
For instance, a consumer will be saddled by the high price tag of $715. User's will also be unable to use the US 3G networks of T-Mobile and AT&T. Fortunately, WiFi saves the day by providing smooth, fast browsing experience via a hotspot.
;And oh, there is also the strange QWERTZ keyboard (Y and Z keys are switched on German phones).
