Troubles with the webOS 1.2 Update
I blogged about some problems with the webOS 1.1 update and it appears that the case is similar with the 1.2 version. Many palm Pre users have expressed the problems they experienced with the recently released webOS 1.2 update.
To be fair, a system update never goes off without a single hitch and the update offered some solid features and fixes. Still, I think it's important to illustrate some of the webOS 1.2 troubles to help users who might also be experiencing these difficulties.
Some users have complained that Google services location have trouble with pinpointing their location. The service may be off target by up to ten miles. Fortunately, the GPS seems to be functioning normally.
There were also some problems with the IM/SMS message notification such as the changes in swipes when interacting with the app.
Other problems that were reported also include frozen web browsing , filed USB charging and phones resetting to factory fresh.
