Sprint's Inaccurate Palm Pixi Wifi Ad
Let's have some fun. The Palm Pixi will be available on the 15th of this month for $99 with contract. Sprint is rolling out a marketing campaign for the second webOS device but they made a funny error.
According to the Sprint Holiday ad for Palm Pixi, "Wifi capable" is one of its features. However, it is misleading since the Pixi will sold without a WiFi radio on board.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to have WiFi on my Pixi but the device doesn't support it. I hope the ad does not mislead consumers who do not know a lot about the specs and features of this new device.
Then again, maybe WiFi will be included in the GSM version of the webOS powered-device.
