Palm Pre for Verizon Shelved?
Many Verizon subscribers were excited when they heard about rumors that the Palm Pre will be arriving at their network next year. However, it appears that Verizon has decided not to support the Pre.
The reason for this decision is not yet clear. This information appears to contradict Lowell McAdam who told investors the Pre was coming in six months.
Perhaps the company has chosen to go on another direction or chose to go for another webOS device. Verizon is also being rumored to release an Android-based phone soon and may chosen Google's OS over the younger webOS platform.
Well, this hasn't been confirmed yet so the Palm Pre may still land at Verizon.
