Palm Pre Return Rate at 11 Percent?
We blogged about the conflicting return rates for the Palm Pre several weeks ago and new numbers have been posted. A new survey conducted by ChangeWave Research place the Palm Pre return rate at 11%.
The results of this Palm Pre survey is certainly more realistic than the earlier reports claiming that the webOS device has a 40% return rate.
The study also included the iPhone which has an impressive return rate of 3%.
I think that's pretty fair assessment. Understandably, iPhone will score higher since it's already a third0gen device. On the other hand, a 7% return rate for a first-gen device like the Palm Pre is a good score.
Of course. it's also possible that the Palm Pre improvements are lowering the number of returned handset.
