Palm Pre Latest News: iTunes Support Confirmed
iTunes support for the Palm Pre has been officially announced at the All Things Digital show. There were rumors that the Palm Pre will support iTunes but they were unconfirmed until the announcement.
The Palm Pre's media sync feature will be able to "synchronize seamlessly with iTunes." This means that Pre users will be able to use Apple's media management software to to transfer DRM-free music, photos and videos.
The process is fairly simple. Here's a step by step guide.
- Connect the Palm Pre to your PC or Mac via the USB cable
- Select "media sync" on the phone,
- Wait as iTunes launches on your computer desktop
- Choose which DRM-free media files to transfer
