Palm Pre iTunes Syncing Blocked!
The release of iTunes 8.2.1 may be the end of Palm Pre iTunes syncing. Some users have reported that the iTunes sync isn't working after the 8.2.1 update.
Apple's release notes for the 8.2.1 update states:
iTunes 8.2.1 provides a number of important bug fixes and addresses an issue with verification of Apple Devices.
Palm and Apple have been bickering over Palm Pre iTunes syncing and this address may have been designed to deal with the issue. Experts say that Apple went to a lot of trouble to block Pre sync which means that Palm might find it extremely hard to reverse it.
Fortunately, there are other programs or apps that allow Palm Pre Media sync such as doubleTwist. Perhaps developers on the new Mojo SDK can also create apps that are dedicated to Palm Pre Media sync.
