The Palm Pre IS Coming to Verizon

The have been conflicting reports as to whether the Palm Pre will be added to the Verizon Wireless lineup. In my previous post, I mentioned a Steet.com article that claims that Verizon has canceled plans to offer the first webOS device. However, other sources have disputed this claim.

The folks at BGR, has come out and debunked the article as false. Their source tells them that the Pre is still heading for Verizon.

The folks at Digital Daily reports that they are still expecting the Pre to launch at Verizon.

Jim Gerace, Executive Director of Media Relations at Verizon, have denied that there is any truth to the article that claims that the carrier has no longer a desire to sell the Pre next year.

Well, I'm happy to report that the information points to a Big Red debut for the Palm Pre in early 2010.
