Palm Pre at $150 in IPCS Service Areas
There were rumors that the Palm Pre price will be cut down to $150 from Sept. 8 to October 31. Well, it turned out to be accurate. However, it's only limited to IPCS service areas.
IPCS, an independent company that provides Sprint phones and services in 81 markets including markets in Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio and Tennessee.
This Sprint PCS Affiliate is currently selling the Pre is "On special" for $249 with a $100 mail-in rebate for new customers. So if your area is being served by ICPS then this is a good chance to get the webOS device at a lower price.

But what does this mean for other subscribers. Well, let's hope that Sprint will also adopt this price drop on a nationwide basis.
