It's a great price but there is a couple of draw backs. For instance, the special pre-order price is only for new contract consumers which means a contract renewal costs $249.99.
The estimated in-stock date for this batch of Wal-Mart handsets is on November 24th. That's more than a week from the arrival of the Pixi on Sprint stores and affiliates like Best Buy and The Shack which this coming Sunday.
Nevertheless, the $30 pre-order price i for the Pixi is a very enticing offer.
