iTunes Sync is Back with WebOS 1.2.1!
webos 1.2 did not offer an iTunes Sync fix but the arrival of the 1.2.1 version has changed the scenario. Well, at least until Apple breaks it again with iTunes 9.0.2.
Palm was able to restore iTunes Sync on webOS 1.2.1 by settings its Manufacturer to Apple and maybe by by changing the USB Product ID to the iPod Video's.
The webOS 1.2.1 also offered fixed some of the various issues with Exchange (EAS) on the Palm Pre.
I must say that I'm enjoying this cat and mouse game between Apple and Palm. I don't know how long this fix will last but I know that Palm will probably go out of its way to provide a fix once again.
