700,000 Palm Pre Apps Downloaded

It appears that Palm Pre users are heavily advocating the limited number of webOS apps. Numbers shows that more than 666,511 webOS apps were downloaded as of June 17th. An impressive figure considering there are only 30 available apps in the infant webOS app store.

The statistics show that the number of downloads have been rising steadily as more and more apps became available. There was no sign of any a drop-off even as apps remained around the 30 mark after the end of the first week.

However, these numbers remain inconclusive as it is too early. However, it does offer a promising glimpse to the future of the Palm Pre and webOS.

The Pre and future webOS devices will benefit heavily with the support of a robust app catalog.
