300 Applications in the Palm App Catalog

We have routinely covered the new additions to the application market for the webOS platform. The growth of the Palm App Catalog is essential to the success of the Palm Pre and future webOS devices. And so I am pleased to announced that there are now a total of 300 webOS applications in the market.

I must admit that 300 is not that impressive especially if one compares it to other application stores such as the Apple App World or the Android market.

Well, I don't care about those markets. I only care about the growth of the applications market for the Palm Pre and future webOS devices.

I'm sure that more apps will be added and it won't take long before we reach the 1,000 mark.
