3% Return Rate for the Palm Pre
There's no doubt that many early Palm Pre users have returned their phones. We have covered the Pre's hardware short comings in this blog so we realize that many users have returned their phones for replacements However, recent reports indicate Palm Pre had a return rate of a staggering 40%. Now we know that those reports were absolutely far from the truth.
The false reports were apparently that number was based on bad data. The return rate for the Palm Pre has now been set at a more believable 2-3% area.
Palm shareholders can now breathe a sigh of relief since the numbers have been corrected.
Sprint has also reported that Pal Pre sales are continuing at a steady pace. The carrier estimates that about 350,000 Pre phones have been sold since launch.
